Appointment and Treatment Terms & Conditions
1. Booking & Payment
All appointments must be booked in advance and are payable in full at the time of booking. Appointments are not confirmed until payment has been received.
2. Consultation Form & Health Disclosure
Clients are required to complete a consultation form prior to their first appointment. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that all information provided is accurate, truthful, and up to date.
Clients must inform the practitioner of any changes to their health, medical conditions, medications, injuries, or pregnancy prior to each appointment. Failure to disclose relevant information may affect the suitability and safety of treatment.
The practitioner reserves the right to refuse, modify, or discontinue treatment if it is deemed unsafe or inappropriate.
3. Scope of Practice
All treatments offered are complementary therapies and are intended to support relaxation and wellbeing. They are not a substitute for medical care and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.
Clients are advised to seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional for any medical concerns.
4. Consent & Professional Boundaries
Consent is required at all times during treatments and clients are encouraged to communicate openly about comfort, pressure, and boundaries.
Respectful behaviour is expected at all times. The practitioner reserves the right to end a session immediately if boundaries are crossed or if behaviour is deemed inappropriate. In such circumstances, the full treatment fee will still apply.
5. Cancellations & Rescheduling
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or failure to attend an appointment without notice, will result in the full treatment fee being charged.
Exceptions may be made at the practitioner’s discretion in exceptional circumstances.
6. Late Arrival
If a client arrives late, the treatment time may be shortened to avoid impacting subsequent appointments. The full treatment fee will still apply.
If arrival is significantly delayed, the appointment may need to be cancelled and will be treated as a late cancellation.
7. Confidentiality & Data Protection
All personal information is treated as confidential and stored securely in accordance with UK GDPR. Information is collected solely for the purpose of providing safe and appropriate treatments and will not be shared with third parties without consent unless required by law.
Further details are available in the Privacy Policy.
8. Right to Refuse Service
The practitioner reserves the right to refuse treatment to anyone at any time, where it is believed that providing treatment would not be safe, appropriate, or in line with professional standards.
